Welcome to the Advocacy Committee update for the Meetings Industry Council of Colorado (http://www.mic-colorado.org/). It is the mission of the Advocacy Committee to monitor legislation in the Colorado General Assembly and its effects on the meetings industry and the health of our state's economy. Our primary function is to keep the leadership and general membership of the affiliated associations informed on matters of governmental affairs. Additionally the Advocacy Committee will serve as a conduit between the meetings industry and our state and local governments for the exchange of information and ideas to keep our industry healthy and vibrant.
